1.The
Fairytale Necklace
Now, here we haves two necklaces: a long one -
52.5" and a shorter one - 26.5" long. So, the possibilities are that you
can wear them several ways. The easiest is that the long one can be
doubled and worn with the single 26.5" strand. I'm showing the longer
one tripled with the shorter one framing it. This is a glorious
necklace, very Elizabethan, very poetic, with green Jade, beautiful
faceted Amethyst from my own collection, gun-metal faceted Hematite,
faceted Ametrine, Smoky Quartz, lots of wonderful Czech beads in peridot
mirror beads and vintage olive geometric squares, cathedral beads in
lilac and finally it’s positively lavished with Sterling Silver beads in
various shapes and sizes. So gorgeous. It's a must-possess!
$300.00 for both. |
2.Chrysoprase,
Pink Agate with Peruvian Opal Pendant
This is so unashamedly
pretty in person, I just hope the delicate colors are evident in my
photo. The Green Chrysoprase is a pale delicate celery color with no
matrix, which is so rare. I found it in China and wrote to my vendor
twice just to make sure that the photos I was seeing online were really
what he would be sending me. (Sometimes, sadly it’s not the case.) So we
have beautiful palest green Chrysoprase, my new find the glossy “faux
ivory” bone beads I’ve been raving about here, pretty black freshwater
Pearls, some wonderful veined pink Crabfire Agate beads, a few hand
carved Rose Quartz beads, Swarovski crystals and Czech leaves. The
Sterling Silver Pendant has Pink Peruvian Opal and a large Black Pearl
in an ornate setting. 20” long.

3.
Turquoise, Tigers
Eye, Smoky Quartz Necklace
I wanted to make
a necklace with excellent healing and protective properties for the
new year. Here also is vibrant color in beautiful large fine quality
beads: golden and red Tigers Eye, hand carved Turquoise, faceted
Carnelian, terracotta Aventurine, Olive Jade rondelles, faceted
gun-metal colored magnetic Hematite some nice Bali star beads to
frame the focal—a remarkable faceted 20mm Smoky Quartz globe. Smoky
Quartz is a powerful healing stone. It’s used to gently dissolve
negative energies, relieve barriers and clear mental channels. It’s
an excellent grounding stone, enhancing attentiveness. It also acts
as a protective stone and promotes personal pride and joy in living.
For more information of the healing powers of each of the other
stones, go to the end of my webpage. 20” long.

4.The
Heaven & Earth Necklace
As many of you already
know, I am mad for all things Asian and in this piece I’ve tried to
capture the most beautiful rendition of the colors of my favorite
Orientals. It’s so wearable—this with a simple ensemble in black or
white is spectacular for the summer season and with your silk velvets,
you’ve got winter covered too. The gemstones are green and soft brown
Aventurine, Yellow, Celedon and Red Jade, Green Turquoise, African
Turquoise, yellow Crabfire Agate, red Sardonyx, faceted black Onyx,
China Cloisonné, a center focal bead of faceted Chinese Red Quartz and a
few Czech beads. 26” long.

5. Rhyolite with
Green Amethyst Pendant
These large green Rhyolite orbs are
so earthy and beautiful! This is an earth goddess necklace for sure. Here they
are put alongside smaller rounds of Tiger Jasper, faceted black Onyx, bronze
freshwater Pearls, Turquoise heishi beads, and a few Swarovski crystals for
sparkle. Finished with an ornate, Sterling Silver pendant of faceted Green
Amethyst. 20” long.
$165.00 |
6.The
Cherry Blossom Necklace
Here is a winsome
little necklace that reminds us of the old adage, “life is just a bowl
of cherries.” If this is true, consider the Herculean task of the oh-so
fragile cherry blossom. Arriving each spring with all good hope, relying
on safety in numbers, in good times and in bad, falteringly, charmingly
it carries the weight of the world on its fluttering shoulders, ready to
bring a new season’s yield of what is unquestionably my pick for the
most opulent of summer fruits—a big bowl of freshly washed cherries, to
be idly savored while reading under a big umbrella in the shade of a
secluded garden. It’s heaven! This is my inspiration. The star here of
course, is my wonderful pink Coral from Spain—lucky me to have found
more of it this year. Then, large AA+ pink freshwater Pearls, globes of
luminous green Jade and faceted square seafoam Quartz are at play. I’ve
used an extraordinary pink Crabfire Agate focal bead that is set off
with minty Czech maple leaves. There are also several other types of
Czech luster leaves here as well as wonderful and unique specialty
fire-polished faceted beads, cut crystals and Swarovski crystals. 65”
long.

7.
Tigers Eye, Citrine,
Pearl Pendant
For you lovers of
tigers eye, here are nice big beautiful A++ rounds of it, together with
faceted Citrines, black Onyx, white freshwater Pearls, an interesting
array of Czech crystal beads, gold cathedral
beads,
luster leaves and Swarovski crystals. It has an ornate Sterling Silver
pendant, also set with Tigers Eye, faceted Citrine and Pearl. 20.5”
long, the pendant is 2.5” long.

8.The
Long Queen Of The Forest Necklace
She
walks splendidly in dappled sunlight and deep shade through leafy bowers
and hidden glades. Crystaline brooks babble and songbirds sing. This is
the Queen of the Forest, she who knows and honors Nature in all of that
formidable lady’s many splendors. I got the inspiration for this
necklace all at once, like a flash, complete with the story of this
fabled queen. Here is every shade of green in Jade, Chrysoprase,
Aventurine, forest Rhyolite, Korean chartreuse Jade, sunny warm Citrine,
bronze freshwater Pearls and all sorts of wonderful Czech beads in sea
green opal, turquoise opal, bronze travertine, faceted cognac and on and
on… So many, such a lavish profusion; but is the forest in all of its
many colors of green, in light and in shade any less beautifully diverse
and full of wonder? Here is a one-of-a-kind jewel, fit for a queen.
Like you. 69” long.

9. Pink Coral, Pearl, Lemon Chrysoprase, Jasper
A wonderful mysterious globe of Wood Jasper, with big pink Freshwater Pearls, faceted Smoky Quartz, Lemon-Lime Chrysoprase barrels, turquoise Picasso beads, Czech leaves with my signature Silver heart toggle.

10.
Long Africa Turquoise
Multi
I am loving this new
Africa Turquoise I’ve been seeing for the first time. Don’t know where
it’s been hiding up until now, but it has a richer teal hue in some
pieces and a lovely soft robin’s egg color in others, with lots of
matrix. Here I’ve put 10mm rondelles of it together with faceted Aqua
Quartz, round Bronzite, my “faux ivory” bone beads and rondelles,
gorgeous, sharply faceted crystals in a wonderful champagne color, some
brown and also smaller black vintage China cloisonné, small bronze-green
freshwater Pearls, Czech leaves and Swarovski crystals. I’m showing the
long Lovebeads doubled or tripled on the site because I think this is
how most of you will want to wear them. Your job is to find the one that
“speaks to you.” 49” long.

11. Green Amethyst, Ametrine,
Black Pearls with Silver Beads
Here is a dream of a
necklace in 8mm celadon green Jade and pale green faceted Prehinite,
also known as Green Amethyst. Also, there are rondelles of faceted
lavender Ametrine and 5mm black freshwater Pearls. What makes this
necklace so special is the major presence of large embellished square
Sterling Silver pillow beads and the beautiful, finely worked Silver
pendant of AAA faceted Green Amethyst. 19” long.
$150.00 |
12.
Green Quartz, Smokey Quartz w/Gold Pyrite Pendant
I’ve recently discovered
Gold Pyrite. I love it—it’s a deep silver color with a hint of gold to
it. This necklace is done in various shades of olive-y Green faceted
Quartz and Smokey Quartz to harmonize with it. There are also small
rondelles of finely faceted Lemon Quartz and along with the faceted Gold
Pyrite, some faceted Hematite to provide a darker charcoal gray color.
The pendant is Sterling Silver with a rough-hewn piece of the Gold
Pyrite, a Smokey Quartz oval and a pear-shaped Lemon Quartz gemstone.
19” long.
$145.00 |

|
13.
Long Amber Agate Multi
The
Rainbow Agates in this one are much more vibrant in person; they are
predominantly a deep brick red, amber gold and black with flashes of
white striping. I’ve put them with various types of Czech fire polished
beads and butterflies in the amber color and lots of black onyx
rondelles and rounds and Swarovski gold and jet crystal rondelles. I
find that the black anchors the multi-colors beautifully. There is also
lots of blue in the necklace in the form of deep teal Africa Turquoise
that looks like ceramic and more of the Czech beads, blue moonfaces and
crystals. Amber-gold is also here in Czech beads, small Tiger’s Eye
beads and whirling pressed glass Saturn beads. 47” long.
$110.00

14.
Long Medley In Green
Real Lovebeads! Still my favorite style, here’s a long
necklace of carved Jasper in gorgeous earthy tones, some square Gold
Pyrite, faceted Golden Needle Quartz, lots of Lemon Quartz in
faceted rondelles and flat rounds, Olive Jade, bronze Freshwater
Pearls, faceted Smokey Quartz and lots of Sparkly Swarovski crystals
and tiny hematite colored seed beads and Czech leaves. Understated
and very beautiful. Wear long or doubled. 44 “ long.

15.The
‘Spring In Perfect Harmony’ Necklace
Oh my goodness, aren’t you just dying for spring?? If you’re anything
like me, you are just counting the days, clandestinely shopping for
crisp linen blouses and praying you’ll spy an early shoot or two of
crocus. My necklace has every imaginable color of “TGIS” (Thank God It’s
Spring) sensibility: delicious new green in the hand carved Jade and
vintage cloisonné, palest faceted seafoam aqua Quartz for harmonically
attracting the best of this most wonderful season, ivory Pearls for
purity of purpose, big gorgeous rare Czech Alexandrite fire-polished
faceted rounds as well as lots of other pink, ivory, peridot green,
turquoise and lavender Czech beads, luster leaves and spiral snails in
the profusion of color which Mother Nature brings us to signal that
winter is Over. Hooray! Let’s start the celebration early this year!
55” long.
$145.00

16.Long
Czech Pastel Multi
This one is very
delicate—most of the beads are in the 6-8mm range so it’s sparkly but
understated. The colors I used are soft blues, lavenders and the milky
opal colors of the faceted Opalite, a few touches of pale pink and gray
Hematite. There is carved Rose Quartz, Blue Chalcedony, small blue
Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski crystals, blue moonfaces and many different
and unusual Czech beads, cathedrals, leaves and pansies. It’s really
pretty tripled if you have a smaller neck. 50” long.

17.The
Foreign Evenings Necklace
Remember that great
old movie “Death On The Nile” with Angela Lansbury and Peter Ustinov?
This piece looks as if it belongs on an adventuress from that era idly
fingering a flute of champagne at her window table, looking out over
Cairo at midnight. There are large finely faceted champagne colored
crystal beads in this necklace that will just take your breath away. The
Egyptian influence is seen in the charming little alabaster scarab beads
and the desert sands toned Aventurines, faceted pale Citrines and Jade
beads. To me, the stylized black and ivory glass wave beads allude to
the gentle lap of the Nile. I’ve sprinkled lots of bronze-gold
freshwater Pearls throughout, as well as Czech luster leaves, faceted
fire-polished beads and cathedrals all in various yummy shades of
champagne, bronze and gold. For the international woman of mystery in
all of us. 66” long.

18.The
Rutilated Quartz Pendant, Bone Bead, Hematite Experience
Why have I named this terrific necklace thusly, you ask? Because I have
a "thing" for Rutilated Quartz, also referred to (by me) as RQs. It's
like an obsession.
Here's what I know about it: RQ is a type
of quartz with needlelike rutiles
(a titanium dioxide mineral), embedded in it. The rutile needles can be
reddish, which is what rutile means in Latin, or they may be golden,
silvery, or on very rare occasions, greenish. RQ is reputed to be an
energizing stone that helps get energy moving on all levels. Intuitive
sources say that it assists with mental focus. It is also said to
attract love and stabilize relationships. RQ is said to be particularly
effective for getting things moving energetically. It can help slowed
chakras return to normal spin and balance.
Emotionally, RQ is said to be very helpful
in uncovering the causes of mental issues and hang-ups. It is reputed to
diminish fears and to be excellent at assisting with decision-making
processes. It can also ease loneliness and relieve guilt thereby
bringing happiness. In the psychic and spiritual realms, RQ is used for
meditation, spiritual communications, and dream work. Physically, RQ is
said to be beneficial for food disorders, the immune system,
regeneration of tissue, fatigue, depression, respiratory illness,
stability of all physical systems and general health, and absorption of
nutrients from food. It is also reputed by intuitive sources to be
helpful for getting energy moving in meridians and areas where the
physical energy is sluggish. For more info see the bottom of this page
under “Quartz.”
OK, are we all clear on one thing at this
point? Rutilated Quartz is the Mother Of All Healing Crystals! There is
an absolute beauty in this pendant, and 2 more at the top of the
necklace, so you'll be covered, coming and going. Here too are my
wonderful, glossy, just-like-the-best-ivory bone beads and some magnetic
Hematite, a FABULOUS stone for attracting what you want in life. This
necklace is a veritable Rx for protection and advancement in life. Wear
it and be wonderful! 19.5" long.

19.The Fruit Bowl
Necklace
Here is a luscious large helping of ripe summer
fruit in a necklace of all of my favorite Chinese-inspired colors.
Luminous citrus yellow Jade, lovely faceted Carnelians the colors of
ripe nectarines, black Onyx the color of black cherries, hand carved
flowers of apple green Jade, a few brown spots of terracotta Aventurine
(hey, this is organic fruit!) all caught up in an embellished bowl of
Sterling Silver—my favorite beads from Bali decorated with flowers and
vines. What a beautiful, easy necklace this is for summer—just slip it
over your head and go! 31” long
. $135.00 |
20.The
Moon Over Min Ki Necklace
Well. What can
I say about this wonderful piece of jewelry? As you can see, it triples
beautifully, although I'm also showing it doubled in the next photo.
It's soo pretty, soo versatile. It has lots of finely faceted Citrine,
my incredible vintage Czech faceted citrine colored squares, black
Sardonyx, faceted black Onyx ,Chinese hand etched black Quartz, yellow
crabfire Agate, bronze freshwater Pearls and a dizzying array of
different and unusual Czech crystals and fire-polished beads. OH! It's
gorgeous. Not for the timid. 60" long $185.00

21.
Rutilated Quartz, Carved
Bone with Turquoise Pendant
This
one just pops with beautiful turquoise beads in the real thing and also
some of my favorite Czech Picasso beads in the perfect shade of
Turquoise for a bit of contrast. Also here are really high quality 9mm
rounds of Rutilated Quartz, which is a clear quartz crystal shot through
with golden needles, known as rutiles. I was thrilled when I got these
because this AAA grade is so hard to find and sometimes vendors will
show you one thing and send you another. I’m sure you’re all aware by
now of my small obsession with Rutilated Quartz—for healing of all kinds
it’s a wonder stone energetically and I think everybody should own some.
Finally, I’ve used some marvelous, intricately carved “faux ivory” bone
beads, a few Swarovski crystals and Czech leaf beads. The Sterling
Silver pendant is a particularly nice oval Turquoise stone. 20” long.
$175.00.

22. Copal Amber with Faceted Seafoam Chalcedony
Pendant
Gorgeous 20X15mm vintage copal amber barrels make a stunning
neckpiece, with a few interesting fancy Sterling Silver beads and a
30mm centerpiece of cooling blue-green faceted Chalcedony.
I've always loved amber and this necklace is a beauty! 19.5" long.

23.The
‘One Of Everything’ Necklace
Every once in a while the occasion
arises where it just makes eminently good sense to utter the phrase,
“I’ll have one of everything, please!” Of course I’m not
recommending you do it on a regular basis; down that road lies
righteous censure, an expanding middle and an overdrawn checking
account. But now and then I’m positive it’s good for the soul. When
I am creating a necklace, I will lay out 10 or 12 groupings of
various sizes, colors and types of beads and just look at them for
awhile. Then I begin exchanging and replacing things, adding,
removing, re-arranging until ~The Voice Inside~ says, “Stop! That’s
It.” With this necklace, ~ The Voice~ said “ I can’t decide, they
all look really good—let’s have one of everything!” And one thing
I’ve learned over the years is this: you don’t mess with ~The
Voice~. So here we have a joyous tumble of technicolor beauty that
just could not be stopped. It has Sardonyx, Citrines, rare faceted
green Chrysoprase, silver Quartz, black Onyx, faceted Smoky Lemón
Quartz, almost the last (sob!) of my powdery blue Quartz, beautiful
golden Amber, China cloisonné, Korean Jade, hand-made etched
lampwork and just scads of gorgeous Czech beads, leaves and
Swarovski crystals. Oh--and the teeny-weeny tiniest bronze seed
beads I’ve ever encountered, no kidding. In fact, now that I think
about it, the name for this piece should probably be “The Severe
Eyestrain Necklace.” 72” long.
$165.00

24.The
Long Joyous Lake Necklace
This is a
heavenly necklace, and one that is dear to my heart. If you are familiar
with the I Ching, or Book Of Changes, you may have happened upon
hexagram 58, ‘The Joyous, Lake’ which says among other things that true
joy rests on firmness and strength within, manifesting itself outwardly
as yielding and gentle. I found myself thinking about gentleness and
what a truly enduring and powerful attribute it is and how much it is
needed in the world as I made this piece. As I did so, all of the colors
I used were soft, tender, tranquil shades to describe and evoke
gentleness and I think the result is an extraordinarily feminine
adornment that brought me real joy in making it. I hope that as you
look at it, it will do the same for you. Palest faceted aqua blue
Quartz, faceted and smooth green Jade in several shades of pale, white
honey, pale yellow and parchment colored Jade, faceted Citrines, faceted
Pineapple Quartz, golden Czech cathedral beads and luster leaves,
butterflies, Swarovski crystals and Bali gold Vermeil cones make up the
elements of the necklace. Softly, I hope it speaks to you. 65” long.

25. Pastels
with Blue Topaz Pendant
Just lovely for spring, this one has
faceted Colored Quartz that puts off a shimmering rainbow of pastel
colors; also faceted Aqua Quartz, carved apple green Jade, pink
Freshwater Pearls, Peridot rondelles and a few Czech beads, leaves and
sparkly Swarovski crystals. The Sterling Silver pendant has a large
Blue Topaz surrounded by sizzley Sterling Silver offshoots ending in
faceted gems of Citrine, Peridot and a lavender Pearl. 18.5” long.

26. The
Sakuran
This was
inspired by a fantastic Japanese movie I saw recently starring
Masanobu Ando and Masatoshi Nagase (love them!) The film was just an
ultra hip riot of fabulous color and so when I saw these wonderful
Fire Agate beads an idea for a design took shape in a flash. In
addition to the Agates, there are big rounds of Honey Jade and
yellow Crab Fire Agate, finely faceted Citrines, Black Onyx
rondelles, black Swarovski crystal rondelles, finished with a
Sterling Silver pendant of Rutilated Quartz and Lemon Quartz. 19.25”
long.

27.Ivory
Moonface with Lavender Pearls
Here
is an eclectic blend of beads in a more petite necklace that I think
is suitable for a young girl or more petite woman. The palest
Lavender-Pink Freshwater Pearls combine with dark gray peacock
Pearls, Czech glass pansy and leaf beads, beautiful faceted Colored
Quartz, a few faceted Ametrine rondelles and sparkly Swarovski
crystals. The pendant is Sterling Silver and has a hand carved Ivory
moonface from Bali, an oblong Green Quartz gem, a large lavender
Pearl and an Amethyst. 18” long.

28. Long
Stained Glass Necklace
-
I have a really
pretty stained glass lamp in my bedroom; it’s been there for years and
the colors are yellow-y gold, blue, green and gray-black. I decided that
the colors would be perfect for a long necklace so I’ve combined yellow
Crabfire Agate (and these are reading a bit neon orange in the
photo—they’re NOT. All the colors are very subtle and rich), green Jade,
blue Lapis Lazuli and beautiful pumpkiny faceted Jade rondelles with
black and white striped Sardonyx, gunmetal gray faceted Hematite, golden
faceted Citrines and my big vintage cognac Czech faceted beads. Also
there are lots of my new Czech fire-polished beads and crystals in
various new colors and some pretty glass butterflies vintage blue
cloisonné. You’ll love this one. 58.5”

29.“The
Ocean” Necklace
With all abject apologies and rationalizations to Seinfeld’s Kramer, yet
another designer has shamelessly lifted his concept, or at least its
catchy name, but if it’s any consolation, it’s not that this lovely
piece of jewelry smells like the ocean, as did Kramer’s ill-fated
perfume, it is merely an evocation of the water, sand, surf and found
things by the sparkling seashore. Especially nice as we approach late
spring and summer evenings, dinners al fresco and weekends by the sea
when a necklace like this one can be just the very thing to add
something special to an otherwise simple ensemble. I’ve used soft blue
rounds of Amazonite, Aquamarine, sea green Jade, aqua and deeper blue
opaque beach glass, faceted Pineapple Quartz, and lots of different
kinds of Czech fire-polished and faceted beads, rondelles, luster leaves
and sparkly Swarovski crystals. 74” long.

30.
The
Sherwood Forest Choker
Why does this necklace
remind me of Robin Hood’s famous leafy refuge? No idea, it just came
to me! There is something kind of romantic about it though—maybe
you’ll see it too: Big vintage Czech faceted crystal beads in the
most gorgeous shade of cognac, Olive Jade, faceted Smokey Quartz and
Lemon Quartz in rounds and rondelles, a few fire-polished Czech
beads and leaves and some black and topaz colored Swarovski crystal
rondelles for sparkle. The focal bead is Rutilated Quartz. (I told
you I’m dotty for it, now you see I wasn’t kidding!) 21.5” Long.

31.The Water Garden Necklace
Of all kinds of gardens,
I hold a special place in my heart for the water garden and nowhere is
there a more magical one than in Giverny, in France, where Claude Monet
lived, gardened and painted many of his most beloved canvases. I will
post on Facebook a favorite photo I have of Monet’s actual water garden,
now carefully and soulfully tended by a private trust for the historic
national treasure it truly is. Monet is another one of my heroes, head
to head, neck and neck, in a fight to the death at all times with Van
Gogh as My Favorite Artist. Neither of them ever seems to get the upper
hand. Just when I’m sure it’s got to be Van Gogh, I see "Bordighera" or
some such, and that’s it! Monet’s my guy. So on they battle, endlessly,
in the eternal cage-match now playing in the rattletrap, M.C. Escher-esque
staircased firmament that is my mind. But to describe this necklace:
here is my humble interpretation of my own private water garden. (And
isn’t “private water garden” a bit of a redundancy? If you have one, it
is, by definition, for you and a few cherished others alone.) Mine is a
profusion of greens and blues in Aquamarines, Larimer, Jade. Since we
must have lavender, here is my luminous Lavender Quartz. Then Czech
glass leaves and lilies, wonderful green Picasso squares, my fabulous
Pale Olive Opal rondelles, Jet AB butterflies and the most extraordinary
lavender freshwater Pearls I’ve run across in a long time. For Summer,
2010 and far, far beyond, really--it’s a must. 86.5” long.
$185.00 |
32.Sirens
Of Titan Necklace
This one is named for one of
my favorite books of all time by maybe my favorite author, Kurt
Vonnegut. I must have read it 5 or 6 times over the course of 40 years
or so—it just gets me where I live and tickles my funnybone in the
deepest possible way. It’s also how my little signature logo evolved:
the planet I draw is a yin-yang shaded Saturn with a tiny round planet
orbiting around it. That’s Titan, one of Saturn’s many moons. The white
honey Jade beads I’ve used in this necklace really are reminiscent of
luminous little moons and I’ve put them together with black peacock,
pale lavender and white freshwater Pearls, the palest honey jade
hand-carved butterflies, little moonface beads, faceted seafoam Quartz,
icy crystal cathedral beads, alabaster luster leaves, lots of Sterling
Silver and Swarovski crystals. 60.75” long.

33. Long Pastel Cloisonné
Multi
Very fresh and beautiful,
this one is: the color palette is cream and peachy pink with various
shades of pastel blue, strung together with tiny gold seed beads. I’ve
used my “faux ivory” bone beads, peachy pink iridescent coin Pearls,
large pale lavender freshwater Pearls, some very unusual and beautiful
cloisonné beads, a pale aqua Quartz carved barrel, some pink Coral, and
lots of Czech fire-polished faceted beads, leaves, flowers, cathedrals,
mirror beads and Swarovski crystals. 57” long, so easily tripled as
well as doubled.

34.Pink
and Green Jade, Bone Choker
This one looks good enough to eat! I’ve paired my
A++ luminous green Jade (wait till you see it!) with some nice pale pink
Jade, my great bone-that-looks-like ivory beads and the prettiest Czech
cathedral beads I’ve ever seen—they are a gorgeous shade of tanzanite
lavender-blue. I think this one might be lovely on a young girl, but if
you’re a pastel lover, like I am, go for it! Featuring one of my
signature Sterling Silver heart toggles, it’s just terrifically pretty
and fresh. 21” long.

36.Whiskey
Quartz, Onyx with Dendrite Opal Pendant
Here’s another one that,
after making it, it’s going to kill me to part with, but I know there is
a special woman somewhere that this amazing necklace will speak to, and
that will be that. It has loads of big chunky faceted Whiskey Quartz
rondelles, which are so rare and so coveted of late. I’ve set them off
with beautiful 14mm black Onyx and faceted barrels of dark chocolate A++
Smoky Quartz. I’ve used lots of Sterling Silver Bali beads (silver is a
great conductor and facilitator of the many healing properties of the
stones here) But the focal is the pendant: an ornately embellished
Sterling setting containing an oblong faceted Citrine gem and a gorgeous
pear-shaped Dendrite Opal. The dendrite may be a new stone to you, but
it occurs naturally and promotes growth spiritually and physically and
aligns physical and etheric bodies. This one is a real “power
necklace.” 19” long.

The Long “New China” Necklace
As you’ll know if you’ve ever
read anything on the history of China, it’s morphed and changed,
ever-reinventing itself countless times over the millenia. This necklace
is an ode to the present day, a bustling, burgeoning, kinetic crazyquilt
of a country, and this necklace simply glitters with energy and
dynamism. It’s because both the large red striped Sardonyx Agates and
the Black Onyx beads are beautifully micro-faceted—the pretty cognac
colored Swarovski crystals help too. All the other beads here are Jade,
of course. There are also hand-carved Jade flowers in apple green and
yellow and a few rondelles of a new find, faceted Jade in a terra-cotta
- pumpkiny shade. I always add a couple of Czech luster leaves at the
clasp, it’s become my signature look. At 36” in length, it begs to be
worn long but can be doubled.

38.Long
Baroque Music Necklace –
A gorgeous array of (what
else?) classical jewel tones in this necklace—it’s one of my favorites
and I think it will go with almost anything, as well as layering with
other Lovebeads strands beautifully. The citrine-colored faceted squares
are actually Czech glass but I just fell in love with them, they are so
pretty. So I’ve used lots of those, along with some other beautiful
Czech crystal beads I’ve found in brand new colors: big faceted cognac
colored ones, rich purple picasso rondelles, some interesting matte Onyx
beads etched with Chinese characters, several different shades of
faceted Smoky Quartz and all kinds of luster leaves, cathedral beads and
fire-polished faceted rondelles. Wait till you have it in your hands! A
stunner. 56” long.

39.The
Long Fireside Dreams Necklace
Let’s hear it for
the occasional totally non-productive, purely self-enhancing, decidedly
off-the-grid activity! I personally set aside a couple of hours daily to
merely stare off into space. I find it unaccountably rejuvenating, but
that’s just me. Were I to assemble a Top Three List on the subject,
figuring prominently would be sitting by a nice cozy fire when day is
done, meditating on the ever-changing colors of the flames and allowing
fulsome free-associating to ensue. Here was my inspiration for this
necklace. The colors here are rich without being blatant and it took
many, many, many tries with several different cameras to even begin to
capture its soul, although I still think when you hold it in your hands
you’ll be struck by how fascinating the gradations of color are. First,
there are numerous different red to gold to hot flame to yellow shadings
of round Jade beads and also Jade hand-carved flowers; then sparkly A++
Carnelians in rondelles, faceted rounds and pumpkin-shaped beads. There
are faceted Smoky Quartz beads in rounds and cushion cuts, faceted
Tigers Eye coins and one amazing white honey Jade focal bead shot with a
soft buff color. There are lots of specialty Czech fire-polished
rondelles, luster leaves, cathedrals and dark topaz pressed glass 3-leaf
clovers. So beautiful: for the fiery and the lovers of the flame. 58”
long.

43.The Soft Summer Suede Necklace
I was thinking about
being in Santa Fe and having a fine old ramble past all of the wonderful
shops and art galleries they have there. I think for that particular
daydream, wearing a summer jacket in that very soft buff colored suede
and this necklace would just be the perfect thing. The necklace is
southwest inspired and will look lovely with summer whites, tans, beige,
brown and of course black. It has some beautiful new 12mm Jade beads
I’ve just discovered that my Chinese vendor calls “ivory jade.” Also, a
new favorite of mine, pale champagne gold faceted Citrines, faceted
citrus yellow-green colored CZs, turquoise, lots of Sterling silver,
Olive Jade, charming little aqua cats eye butterflies, loads of
Swarovski crystals and several kinds of unusual Czech beads in turquoise
Picasso and Copper Carmen. 70” long.

45.Jasper
For (Real!) Men
I’ve been wracking my brain for weeks trying to
come up with a name for my beads for men; Shana suggested ManBeads, but
call me crazy, I had a good laugh and passed on that one. The nearest
I’ve gotten so far is“The Beaded Neck Chain” which isn’t exactly it
either, so if you have a good suggestion, email me quick! Anyway, here’s
a good representation of the genre—I’ve used lots of small (nothing over
8mm) Jaspers, Jade and Rhyolite in a nice configuration with central
focal beads of Bronzite and gold Pyrite. I don’t think my photo has
really captured the beautiful, subtle colors of the stones, so this is
one that will be a pleasant surprise to get up close and personal with.
24” long. $95.00

47.Long Pastel Amazonite Multi
Amazonite is such a
wonderful stone—it’s the perfect shade of baby blue. Here I’ve put large
rounds of it with faceted opaque lavender Quartz ovals, faceted Ametrine,
faceted green Chalcedony ovals, nice quality white, black and icy blue
freshwater Pearls, a faceted Amethyst, and all kinds of soft pastel
Czech fire-polished beads, Picassos, pansies, pink iridescent snail
beads, luster leaves, and sparkly Swarovski crystals. 46.5” long.
$110.00

49.
The Long Carnelian, Citrine, Smoky Quartz Necklace
This one is just massively gorgeous! It is, as the
name implies, awash with beautifully faceted Citrine and Smoky Quartz
gemstones, carved pumpkin shaped Carnelians, Czech fire-polished beads
in all of my new favorite styles, vintage German glass beads, luster
leaves and Swarovski crystals. Here it is tripled, doable because of the
clasp. I'm also showing it doubled in the next photo. 60.5" long.
$145.00

57.The
Any Given Holiday Necklace
When
you think about it, there are a lot of holidays to be celebrated
throughout the year besides Christmas and New Year’s; birthdays,
anniversaries, special concerts you might be attending, businessy
type fetes; the list goes on and on. If you’re like me, you absolutely
require a really wonderful necklace to add an exclamation point of
exclusivity, dash and color to your special day into evening ensembles.
It was exciting to work on this necklace and see it come together
because I just kept adding more and more sparkly faceted beads and
Swarovski crystal rondelles to the mix and the result is very
festive indeed. It also features a fabulous 20mm soft dusty blush
colored Crabfire Agate focal bead that is to die for. Also there are my
new favorite striped Sardonyx rondelles in red and caramel colors,
bronze freshwater Pearls, small faceted Smoky Quartz beads, gold faceted
Czech crystals, and Swarovski crystal bicones. Really, it looks good

40.Coin
Pearl, Pink Cloisonne with Carved Jade Flower
Everyone should have some green Jade! Highly prized for centuries by the
Chinese, it brings luck and success (and who couldn’t use a bit more of
those two things?) The carved Jade Flower pendant is enhanced by pink
coin pearls, old China cloisonné, pink Chalcedony, small Peridots and
faceted green Czech beads, glass pansies and leaves. 17.5” long.

42.The
Long Blue Skies
Remember
Snow White? Wasn’t she just the ‘It Girl’ of all of our childhoods?
Here we have a jeweled tribute to her, that paragon of sweetness,
the friend of bluebirds everywhere with the black, raven black hair,
singing and dancing in the forest. My necklace is an evocation of
her gentleness and her belief in life’s essential goodness; that
things will work out—that we deserve to be happy and choose every
day to confidently go forward with that intention. The predominant
colors here are blues and black, the light and the dark, because
what life isn’t essentially a coming together of these two opposing
elements? I referenced the bluebirds in that famous scene of Walt
Disney’s movie in the exquisite Czech fire-polished sky blue
crystals in many shapes and sizes, cathedral beads and luster leaves
and the divine, palest aqua blue beach glass rondelles. The dark is
more than represented by my fabulous micro-faceted 10mm A++ black
Onyx; glossy, perfect and sparkling. 54” long.
$130.00

44.2
Strand Multi With Tibetan Ruyi Dzi, Turquoise
Wonderful color here in a generous 2 strand

Tibet, said to promote prosperity in the wearer, rounds of beautiful
midnight blue Lapis Lazuli, White Honey Jade, large rounds and
smaller swirl beads of Rainbow Sardonyx in various shades of deep
reds and black, more of my new find in faux-Ivory, polished
bone--this time in slender rondelles as well as the rounds. Also,
smaller Black Onyx beads, my favorite glass turquoise rice beads and
lots of sparkly Swarovski crystals. The effect of the piece is that
it is alive with very subtle color. What a memorable gift this
necklace would make! 22” and 26” long.

A long easy
Summer necklace in gorgeous shades of pink Crab Fire Agate, carved

48.Long
China Camp Necklace
China Camp is a
fabled place in Marin County. I spent so much time there in my early
years—it was the kind of place where it seemed something magical
might happen at any moment although to the casual eye it was just a
tiny funky little curved inlet of rocky sand and driftwood that had
once been home to a small shrimping operation located in the
northern part of San Francisco Bay. When I finished this necklace
yesterday, I just looked at it and said “China Camp!” because of the
deep browns that reminded me of all of the scattered driftwood logs
lining the shore and the aqua blues and pale greens of the bay, sky
and surrounding hills of old Marin. I’ve set some aurora borealis
and jet butterflies dancing around the opaque pale aqua beach glass,
Aqua Quartz and the wonderful faceted Smoky Quartz rounds and
barrels I’ve used. A word about Smoky Quartz: it’s a powerful and
ancient healing form of crystal used to gently dissolve negative
energies, relieve barriers and clear mental channels. It is an
excellent grounding stone, enhancing attentiveness. It also acts as
a protective stone and promotes personal pride and joy in living,
which is nothing to sneeze at, energetically. Also in the necklace
are several new Czech bronze beads I’ve just found, my faceted
champagne crystal beads, lots of Sterling Silver beads in various
shapes and sizes and the most gorgeous translucent lavender Jade
beads I’ve seen in ages that weren’t multi-hundreds of dollars a
strand and thus in the No-Way-José Category, acquisition-wise. So
beautiful—the Long China Beach Necklace is especially easy to wear
doubled, but I love it best tripled. 64.25” long.
$150.00

50. Aqua Quartz with 3 Stone Pendant
Superb for summer,
this one looks like a long cool drink of water. Faceted Aqua Quartz,
aqua beach glass, pale pink freshwater Pearls, faceted aurora
borealis Quartz, silver Swarovski crystal rondelles, fancy Bali
Silver beads, finished with a Silver pendant of faceted Rose Quartz,
Green Amethyst and Blue Topaz and my signature Sterling toggle.
19" long
$175.00

52. The Rhyolite Choker
A great, any time, anywhere necklace of
green and gold toned Forest Rhyolite, heavenly faceted Sleeping
Beauty Turquoise, some black and white Sardonyx rondelles, barrels
of African Turquoise and my new find (therefore, my new passion!)
really terrific ivory-colored bone beads. [A Slight Digression: as
you all must know, from reading about it on my site, real Ivory
beads are a thing of the past. It’s sad, even though I guess it
makes sense, to ban the sale of even old, pre-ban re-purposed beads
on the assumption that using them still creates a market for new
Ivory somehow or other. So I can no longer get Ivory, but these new
bone beads I’ve found are beautiful, they look like Ivory and I’m
thrilled to bring them to you! Have a look and see if you don’t
agree.] Back to the necklace: it’s 21” long.
$95.00

54.Yellow Crazylace
Agate Necklace –
Here
is an eclectic offering in a longer length of fascinating Crazy Lace
Agates, each one polished smooth to the touch and each totally
unique as only Mother Nature knows how to create them. I’ve put them
together with lustrous bronze freshwater Pearls, small rondelles of
Gold Pyrite and a few Swarovski crystals. A wonderful, artsy
“anytime” necklace, it may be worn long or doubled as a short
choker. 31.5” long.
$100.00

56.White Turquoise, Zebra
Jasper, Smoky Quartz
I’m a great fan of white
Turquoise and the beads I’ve found for this necklace are a
particularly good batch. I wear mine all summer long, but I don’t
for a minute think the stone is a one season wonder—I will say that
it looks especially good (to my eye anyway) on tanned skin. I put it
with some amazing brown Zebra Jasper beads I had and then tied it
all together with some blue faceted Turquoise, black Onyx, bone
beads in a couple of shapes and sizes, all kinds of ornate Sterling
Silver beads, bead caps and my signature toggle clasp. I finished it
with a gorgeous 20mm faceted Smokey Quartz focal bead. It’s a bit of
the eclectic, eccentric Southwest, any old time of year. 23.5”
long.
$135.00

58.The Venetian
Here is a lovely mixture of textures and colors, so right for the
season, with just a hint of sparkle: nice large White Turquoise
rounds, fat, etched Black Onyx rondelles, faceted Citrines, the last
few of my Mom's faceted jet beads from an old choker I inherited (as
mentioned earlier, I really am incorrigible. I can't help myself.
Sometimes my own collection is the only place I can find what I
need.) I'm not sure where the sparkly bronzy beads hail from but
they look like old Venetian trade beads to me, hence I call this
one "The Venetian." 21.5" long.

About The Stones in My Jewelry
This
little bit of info has been awhile in coming, but I’ve long wanted to
include something which you can refer to either to find out more about
why you seem drawn to a particular stone at any given time, OR to find a
stone which may enhance, heal or generally give protection to you in a
variety of circumstances for a variety of reasons. Remember: gemstones
are ancient and in every corner of the world were believed to protect,
enhance and provide healing to the wearer for a lot longer than we can
possibly imagine.
All humans are called to certain stones; they
are drawn by a certain energy -- a connection between man and all life
forms in the universe. When you choose a stone you must feel good; you
must be guided by your higher self; and you must let the stone speak to
you. Let your intuition be your guide.
Pearls
should be worn close to the skin in necklaces or medallions.
The wearing of pearls helps to develop an even temperament as well as
aid in healing, in giving strength and developing purity. Pearls are
beneficial in meditation for some people. Wearing pearls at night
stimulates dreaming. Pearl is the symbol of the moon and is an emblem of
purity, innocence and peace. Pearls represent truth, knowledge and
power, celestial and spiritual knowledge, faith and clarity. They are
not actually minerals, but organic gems.
They inspire purity, concentration, focus, meditation, serenity,
tranquility and wisdom
Turquoise is a vibrant
light-blue-to-green-gemstone. Said to prevent procrastination and warn
its wearer of danger or illness by changing color. To protect coating,
avoid hot water and chemicals.
Turquoise keeps one in
the feeling of unconditional love. It draws out negative vibrations. It
is a cleansing and protection stone. I never leave home without it!
Howlite aka
White Turquoise- This mineral
can be used to calm communication, to facilitate awareness, and to
encourage emotional expression. It builds an innate decency within ones
character, encouraging those attributes which are the building blocks to
spirituality.
Garnet is a family of
gemstones from reddish-orange to yellow/brown-green, although classic
garnet has a deep red color. Garnet is a symbol of consistency,
perseverance, and good health. It is a power stone, according to legend,
guiding its wearer when traveling at night. Said to remove nightmares
and depression.
Tigereye is an opaque form of quartz, when beaded and polished,
is streaked by spindle-like bands of ligh, typically brownish-yellow to
a blue or blue-green. Heated yellow-brown tigerseyes may take on a
reddish color due to oxidation of iron inside the gemstone. It is
helpful for individuals seeking clarity and for those who must deal
intelligently with the scattered details that must be brought together
in some pattern. It can be used to enhance the psychic abilities and can
assist in the gentle attunement of third eye activity. This stone is
best suited to earthy people. It has been used to stimulate wealth and
to enhance the stability required to maintain wealth. Produces soothing
vibrations, generating a calmness to unsettled turmoil, and allowing one
to enjoy the actions of being unfenced and uninhibited. Can be used to
enhance self- empowerment.
Jade is treasured in China as the imperial stone. In two forms,
jadeite the best for its more vivid green and translucence. Also in
lavender, pink, and white. Nephrite is dark spinach greens, white,
browns, and black. For thousands
of years, jade has prevailed as a symbol of
love, purity, and status.
Green Jade-
facilitates peace within the physical, emotional, and intellectual
structures, as well as within the materialistic world. It was said to
bring accord the environment, to transmute negativity and to instill
resourcefulness. Intuitive sources also say that green Jade can assist
in various types of self-healing, both emotional and physical. It is
associated with the heart, and is also believed to help one to find
prosperity and abundance. The word 'Jade' can refer to specimens of
either Jadeite or Nephrite. Its derivation is from the Spanish piedra de
ijada, or 'hip stone'. This comes from the past belief that it was a
protection and cure for kidney diseases. In ancient China, it was long
used for carving religious objects. In pre-Columbian Central America, it
was valued more highly than gold.
Jade
facilitates peace within the physical, emotional, and intellectual
structures, as well as within the materialistic world. It was said to
bring accord to the environment, to transmute negativity and to instill
resourcefulness. Very "Lucky" Stone. I do not fly without wearing Jade.
Honey Jade -
Powerful emotional balance, radiates divine unconditional love. Dispels
negativity from the third chakra (solar plexus). It has been used by the
ancients {and some current} primitive tribes as a sacred stone,
assisting one in access to the spiritual worlds.
Peridot
can be found in Arizona, Hawaii, in the Red Sea, in Australia and
Pakistan. Some Peridot crystals have even been found inside meteorites!
Intuitive sources say Peridot is a powerful generator of the frequency
of Increase--increase of wealth, increase of health, and increase of joy
and emotional well-being. It is said to bring the will and emotions into
alignment, and to decrease fear.
Coral is calcium carbonate exuded by
huge colonies of tiny marine animals a true organic gemstone. White
coral is common, but pink, orange, blue, and black exist. Supposedly,
red coral changes color depending on its wearer's health. It protects
from depression and despondency, strengthen the bone structure and is a
stimulant for the root chakra
Agate is a form of
quartz colored by bands. These patterns may be straight, concentric, or
shaped in landscape-like patterns. In ancient times agate was highly
valued as a talisman, protecting its owner from fever and insomnia,
bringing strength and victory in battle.
A Word About Quartz:
Quartz can
be used in meditation to provide insights into family and/or community
problems. It is also helpful for those employed by organizations that
assist others (e.g. teachers, hospitals, etc.) The energy helps to
stimulate a group cohesiveness & a willingness to work together. It
also assists in bringing the 'group' energy of other crystals to the
surrounding environment, enhancing harmony & peace in groups, in the
family, & in other social &/or business environments. This crystal is a
wonderful companion when one is experiencing the loss of a loved one,
bringing understanding of the process & assisting in transition (for
both)."
The energy
generated by Quartz is directly proportional to the number of crystals
which overlay the single (or multiple) crystal(s)."
These beauties also can cleanse, enhance & increase the energy of your
other crystals & minerals to "stimulate healing on all levels."
Seriously, these crystals are power-filled, Love-infused, Joyous
Creations! I could fill pages with the attributes of them...
Rose Quartz is a much
rarer form of common clear quartz (or rock crystal). It has a rosy-red
hue that may be fairly cloudy as a result of small fissures. It
sometimes contains rutile inclusions dense enough to form a star. It is
called "the stone of gentle love" and emits a calming, cooling energy
that brings peacefulness to the emotions.
Rose Quartz is said to balance the
emotions, thus giving inner peace and harmony, and to enhance one's
sensitivity to beauty, art and music. It is also said to calm aggression
and resentment while increasing self-esteem and self-confidence, and to
enhance one's compassion, patience and forgiveness. It is said to
enhance your capacity to love others and yourself. It also is said to
help treat depression and to assist in weight loss. It is said to give a
clear soft complexion and to prevent wrinkles. Rose quartz is also said
to aid the proper functioning of the kidneys, adrenals, genitals, liver,
lungs and heart, and to increase fertility and protect against radiation
Amethyst is purple-to-lilac, ranging from
opaque to expensive transparency. A purple variety of the quartz family.
A symbol of sincerity, security, and peace of mind. Named from the Greek
word amethustos meaning without wine. Legend says drinking from an
amethyst chalice will prevent intoxication. It is a powerful stone for
healing, enhances intuition, clarity. Pertains to the 6th chakra. It
reflects the purple ray, one of the colours for the third eye center.
It is the color that can be seen on special evening sunsets, as dusk
transforms daylight into darkness. It is the color that symbolizes the
change of consciousness from the normal waking state into the twilight
regions of altered awareness. In those most enchanted moments of
shifting energies the Amethyst ray reflects the essence of magic & the
ability to transform from one reality to another. Amethyst is ONE OF
THE BEST STONES TO USE FOR MEDITATION. Since the Amethyst color is the
highest vibration of the third eye, an Amethyst stone can be placed
directly over this area...to usher in a meditative state. Amethyst's
gentle persuasion temporarily stills the mundane thought processes that
usually inundate the consciousness so that the mind can experience
tranquility. Amethyst guides the awareness away from self-centered
thought patterns as it lures the mind towards a deeper understanding.
Amethyst energy shows the mind can be opened. The inner calm and peace
initiated by this stone enable one to dive deep into the ocean of
silence and participate in the serenity that exists beyond constant
mental activity.
Citrine
is one of the two minerals on the
planet which does not hold and accumulate negative energy, but
dissipates and transmutes it, working-out problems on both the physical
and subtle levels. It, hence, never needs clearing or cleansing. It has
also been reported that citrine is one of the stones to be called the
"merchant's stone"; placing a cluster or a crystal of citrine in ones
cash box has produced more income for the merchant. It not only assist
the merchant in acquiring wealth, but helps to maintain the state of
wealth. It influences, in a positive manner, the areas of education,
business pursuits, and interpersonal relationships. It is an excellent
stone for smoothing family or group problems and, subsequently,
producing cohesiveness within the associative members. It acts similarly
to the cutting edge of a sword, penetrating problems and expediting
solutions. It can aid in digestion, can assist in the treatment of
digestive disorders, and can promote the circulation of the blood. It
has been used in the treatment of degenerative disorders and to
facilitate the diminishment of growths. It has also been used to
increase visual abilities, to balance the thyroid, and to activate the
thymus. Citrine is said to bring the wearer abundance
and wealth.
It is good for protection
and energetic shielding. It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura
and aligning the auric body with the physical body.
Ametrine – [This stone
is a comprised of the combination of Amethyst and Citrine] People
interested in metaphysics and crystal healing tell me that ametrine is a
stone to enhance universal equilibrium and provide a clear connection
between the physical form and the ultimate state of perfection. It helps
balance the male/female properties and for an intellectual synthesis of
spirituality. It stimulates the intellect to reach beyond the worldly
aspects toward the development of the consciousness. In meditation and
attunement, Ametrine can help onto reach higher states more quickly,
leading to peace, tranquility and cooperation. Ametrine is said to
enhance compatibility and balance while discouraging prejudice.
Blue Topaz stimulates
the Throat Chakra enhancing the wearer's ability to consciously,
succinctly and clearly verbalize that which one desires to manifest
and/or that which one desires to communicate.

was once thought to still the blood and calm the temper. Stones may be

they may be golden, silvery, or on very rare occasions, greenish.

energy moving on all levels. Intuitive sources say that it assists with
mental focus. It is also said to attract love and stabilize

It is particularly good for seeking higher spiritual experiences and
meditation on feminine ideas. Rutilated quartz is also used
metaphysically to deflect negative energies and unwanted energetic,
psychic, and magical interferences.
Physically, rutilated quartz is said to be
beneficial for food disorders, the immune system, regeneration of
tissue, fatigue, depression, respiratory illness, stability of all
physical systems and general health, and absorption of nutrients from
food. It is also reputed by intuitive sources to be helpful for getting
energy moving in meridians and areas where the physical energy is
sluggish. Rutiliated quartz is also a mystical crystal "diagnostic tool"
which can help discover the true cause of an ailment.
Rutilated quartz is associated with the solar
plexus chakra, and is sometimes considered a link between the root and
crown chakras.

Amazonite -
The name was given to this stone because of an Amazonian legend.
According to early explorers, members of an all female tribe in northern
Brazil would give this stone to men of a neighboring tribe to rent their
services in order to ensure perpetuation. The region itself was called
Amazonia. It is a variety of potassium feldspar. It is an opaque stone
that ranges from green to blue green in color.
Believed to soothe the nervous
system. Strengthens the heart and physical body
Enhance creative expression
and bring joy. Encourages us to express
our personal truths
It soothes all chakras and is
particularly rejuvenating to the heart center and throat
Vibrates to the number 5 and
Virgo. When we wear Amazonite,
we can benefit greatly from holding the thought in mind that we are
capable of excellent health. Amazonite will encourage us to seek greater
health than we can imagine, but our imaginations do help us get to a
commitment to health. We will find the desire to come back to life. We
will find our dreams begin to turn to lifestyles of the healthy and
vigorous rather than lifestyles of the sick and tired. Thoughts of being
sick and debilitated exacerbate conditions of ill health. Our minds must
lead us in any effort to regain health, and amazonite will encourage our
participation in a program of total health through it's action on the
mind. This wonderful green-blue stone will gently build our desire for a
positive life. Motivation is the first key to success of any kind.
Experience is the second key. Once you get the feeling of health,
nothing can hold you back. The experience of really having the energy to
get active motivates a person to keep trying. Celebrate your success as
it happens.

crown chakras

is a wonderful stone for worry because it

protection of oneself and their home. Carry a small tumbled stone with
you when you feel the need for protection from lets say, negative vibes
:-) Hematite is great for those office meetings when you feel you may be
challenged! Another wonderful use of Hematite is for jet lag. Take with
you when traveling, the hematite will provide you with a feeling of
being grounded with the earth plane. Therefore, it will help to prevent
jet lag. Numerology- Hematite vibrates to the number 9. The number 9 is
about service, beauty, and love on the highest level. Having a deep
concern for mankind. Gemological Properties- Hematite's chemical
composition is Fe203 (iron oxide); it is from the hexagonal crystal
